Every Texan should have the power to control their own body, their personal decisions, and their life. I trust Texans to make their own decisions about their future and health, including whether or not to have an abortion.

 

The decision to become a parent is one of the most important life decisions a person can make. When everyone can make decisions that are best for their own lives, families thrive and we build healthier communities where each of us can participate with dignity which is why our government should not interfere with abortion access.

 

We must make abortion access available and affordable for all Texans in need of one, and we must remove barriers to family planning and add comprehensive age-appropriate sexual education. We need to move to ban abstinence-only education and crisis pregnancy centers that do nothing to aid Texans in dire need.
